How we fund our work
Our work is paid for in these ways. Here is each one, and which are open today.
1.
Donations
Open nowGive once, to the fund you choose. Everything made with it is free for everyone to watch. FTVP is not a registered charity, so Gift Aid is not available.
- Purification: for money from lawful sources that you want to clear, such as interest. It goes to public-interest work.
- Support / sadaqah: voluntary giving that covers our everyday costs, such as fair wages.
- Equipment fund: buys things that last, such as cameras and editing kit. FTVP keeps them and reuses them.
- Each fund is kept separate and spent only on what you picked. We do not accept zakat.
- You expect nothing in return: no benefit, reward or promotion.
2.
Memberships
Coming soonPay a regular fee to watch on our own streaming platform, built for family content made in our house style.
- Our titles and titles from other producers who share our style.
- Every title from another producer passes our standards check before it streams.
- Price and start date are not set yet.
3.
Crowdfunding
Coming soonBack a film or series before it is made, and help bring it to the screen.
- Projects can be ours or from other producers.
- Every project passes our standards check before it opens for funding.
- What backers receive, and when, is not decided yet.
4.
Investment
LaterBack a project as a partner and share in its profit or its loss. This opens later, once the structure is confirmed.
- Your share is a portion of the real profit, agreed in advance. It is not a fixed amount.
- No return is promised and your capital is not guaranteed.
- You would know exactly which project your money goes to.
- We cannot sell shares from this website. Any offer would go through a platform authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority, after advice from a UK solicitor and a scholar.
